2006: Named First Team All-Sun Belt Conference ... Started all 13 games at defensive end and enjoyed a career year for the Blue Raiders ... Had 38 total stops on the year to go along with career-bests in tackles for loss (9.5) and sacks (5.5) ... Also added two fumble recoveries and a pass breakup ... Made the move from linebacker to defensive end in the spring and impressed the coaching staff with his motor and work ethic ... Collected two tackles, a tackle for loss, and a pass breakup in the Blue-White Spring Game ... Earned the Most Dependable Defensive Line award following spring drills ... Played 47 snaps (37 defense, 12 special team's) against FIU and had one tackle while earning a "winning performance" on defense from the coaches ... Had two stops at Maryland and earned another "winning performance" ... Also collected two tackles against Tennessee Tech on his way to a third straight "winning performance" ... Collected four tackles, including a sack and a fumble recovery in 48 plays at Oklahoma ... Was awarded with a "winning performance" following the OU game ...
