Helped spearhead a unique first of its kind mentoring program where the men's basketball team mentored more than 20 youngsters at a local middle school. The program was a year-long venture where players went to Central Middle School each week for one hour to mentor. The program ended with a day-long program at Middle Tennessee in May ... Assisted with clean-up operations in the Nashville, Tenn., area after a deadly tornado ripped through the Midstate area and destroyed homes and businesses ... Also involved with Special Olympics (4 years), NABC Reading Program (4 years), "Special Kids" (3 years), American Heart Association Heart Walk (2 years) ... Second in Sun Belt Conference in field goal percentage (.652), which is third on the Middle Tennessee single-season list behind Warren Kidd's 70 percent in 1991, and Kidd's .664 in 1992 ... Among Top 15 in Sun Belt rebounding category and sixth among league leaders with a single-season high 69 ... Became first Blue Raider since Tommy Gunn (2001-04) to record at least 100 rebounds in three straight seasons when he pulled six against New Orleans ...
