Georgia WR holds three offers

Heading into May, McEachern WR Chris Davis was still waiting for his first offer. After spending the early part of Summer camping around the Southeast, he's heading into July with a trio of offers.

Chris Davis Profile

"Louisville, Middle Tennessee and Southern Miss have offered me so far," says the talented wideout. "Right now I like Middle Tennessee the most."

His warm feelings toward the Blue Raiders are a result of the camp he attended earlier in the Summer. Although Davis admits that he didn't have his best day while at Middle's camp, he was extremely excited to receive an offer.

"Coach [Justin] Watts was with me the whole camp and I like how their head coach is really involved with the receivers in particular. I like how he's right there in it."

In addition to the coaching, Davis mentioned that he likes how the Blue Raiders utilize their receivers in their game plan.

"They've got a lot of good receivers. I really like how they spread the ball out," he says. "I also like how they throw the ball, with the screens and bubble passes and all."

While Middle is his current favorite, Davis maintains that he's not in any rush to make a decision. He says he plans to attend a game at Floyd Stadium this season and will likely take in a couple more visits prior to deciding.
