Franklin named Offensive Coordinator

On Thursday Coach Rick Stockstill introduced Tony Franklin as the Blue Raiders new offensive coordinator.

On Thursday Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill ended the speculation by naming Tony Franklin as the Blue Raider's new offensive coordinator. Franklin comes to Murfreesboro after serving as offensive coordinator at Sun Belt rival Troy before taking the same position at Auburn for part of the 2008 season.

Franklin is known for his exciting, fast paced offensive schemes and his offenses have been ranked in the Top 20 nationally on several different occassions.

Franklin also served on the Kentucky staff in the late 90's and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2000.
