They perennial powerhouse Old Dominion Monarchs proved to be a tough opponent for the Lady Raiders on Tuesday night. Despite shooting only 32% from the field in the first half the Lady Raiders were able to cling to a one point lead.
The second half proved to be the difference as MTSU surged to a 86-71 win. Standout freshman Jackie Pickel provided the spark as she connected on three 3-pointers in five trips down the floor to ignite a Blue Raider run.

The Lady Raiders extended their win streak to 6 and have won 9 of their last 10. The only blemish in the streak came at the hands of #4 Tennessee.
